Cristina is a graduate in Environmental Sciences from the Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey, and studied on the master’s degree course in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She is a project manager at Ecoserveis, where she specialises in dissemination, communication and training in renewable energies, Energy poverty and energy efficiency.

Cristina is an expert on energy rights, on which she has been concentrating for 10 years, through communication, raising awareness, political advocacy, direct intervention, training and research. She is a member of the Round Table against Energy poverty of the Emergency Housing Group of the Barcelona City Council. She also lectures on this subject at statewide conferences.

As a teacher she has organised and run workshops for children, youths and adults on climate change, energy and the environment, and has collaborated in the production of material for teaching about energy (exhibitions, guides and courses).
