Ecoserveis has carried out an evaluation of the interventions in the homes of the program of Audits and Interventions in the houses in situation of Energy Poverty, of the Diputació of Barcelona, ​​pertaining to the program of the edition of the year 2018 and part of the 2019 .

A sample of 100 households was analysed to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions carried out in terms of user tariff optimization, the impact on consumption of supplies and household spending, the installation of material low-cost to improve the energy efficiency of households, and consumption habits that were explained to households to reduce their energy uses. Users’ perceptions of the program and its overall assessment have also been assessed.

The assessment was conducted through home visits to analyse the current situation using a questionnaire specifically designed to gather all the necessary information concisely and efficiently during the visits.

The aim of the visits was to assess the user’s perception of the program and the energy habits explained, and analyse the actions taken in the program of interventions: optimization of basic energy supplies, state of the materials installed to improve energy efficiency in the home, and execution of the measures proposed in the audit.
